FDSN Network Information

FDSN code 7I (2011-2022) Network name InSight pre and post-flight test data
Start year 2011 Operated by
End year 2022 Deployment region
Description

a NASA Discovery Program mission that will place a single geophysical lander on Mars to study its deep interior. Landing is expected in November 2018.
The Lander will deploy the SEIS experiment, which will be based on two 3-axis seismometers: a VBB and a SP. In addition, environmental sensors will provide data on possible source of seismic noise, including a 3 axis Magnetometer, a pressure sensor, wind sensors and temperature sensors.
This 7I request is for Earth test data taken during the experiment development buy the various instruments and prototypes.
