2. China Digital Seismograph Network - CDSN [CD] 

DATES OF OPERATION:     19 Oct 1986 to 22 Sep 1995. 

SEISMOMETER TYPE:
Streckeisen Model STS-1 three component system for all broadband, long period 
and very long period data.  The Model DJ-1 seismometer, manufactured in China, 
for all short period data.

DIGITAL FORMAT:
16 bit gain-ranged data words for all components.  
Range: +1,048,576 to -1,048,448 counts.

EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHIM:
The Murdock event detector (Murdock, 1983) is used for all short period and 
mid period data.
