SEISMOMETER TYPE:
Teledyne-Geotech Model KS-36000 borehole seismometer.    

DIGITAL FORMAT:
16 bit gain-ranged data words for all components.  Range: +2,096,128 
to -2,097,152 counts.

EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHM:
The event detector for the SHZ channel was developed by the Unitech Corp.,
Austin, Texas.  This detector was not documented.

COMMENTS:
A complete description of the SRO system can be found in Peterson et al. (1976).
The MAIO station was shut down during the revolution in Iran.  Any questions
regarding the data should be addressed to the Albuquerque Seismic Laboratory.
