| Description |
Under contract with AFRL/RYAA, ICASA is working on developing capabilities to enable Cyber-Physical Fused Sensing (CPFS) capabilities at the Playas Research and Testing facility. Currently, much of the work to date has been toward establishing the essential infrastructure and its operation to provide a proof-of-concept of effective capabilities. The purpose of this work is to provide a basic and applied research into acoustic source processes, propagation, instrumentation, signal and array processing, and software development. This project will deploy new sensing infrastructure that complements the existing high and low fidelity acoustic capabilities, specifically in the domain of Infrasound and Seismic Array sensing. It will contribute to key mission objectives, increase and demonstrate the capabilities of the Playas environment, and complement the island-forest-marine environment of the Cook Island IS array deployment with the continental-desert-urban-like, Playas setting. |
