Description |
The aim of this experiment is to measure the microseismic energy generated by the Atlantic Ocean and the English Channel as close to the shore as possible, over 2 winters and 1 summer. In order to quantify this energy over a wide range of frequencies, we need sensors with a flat response between 0.01 and 100Hz. 6 stations (Centaur 3 + T120QA) will be installed on the Vendée coast (44) and near the Seine estuary. They will be co-located with meteorological and geodetic stations during the 18-month deployment period. |
