Description

The Cascadia 2022 seismic experiment represents a follow-up deployment based on data from our Cascadia 2021 experiment. We have identified two areas where a dense liner array of nodes would provide a complementary data set to the one collected in the summer of 2021. Approximately 100 nodes will be deployed in a rough west-east line in southern Oregon with nearly one-kilometer spacing. A second linear array of about 200 nodes will also be deployed in a rough west-east line in northern Oregon with nearly 500 meter spacing. These linear arrays will use natural source imagining techniques to complement the velocity model produced from the controlled source offshore deployment collected in 2021
