| Description |
We plan to deploy 200 three-component nodes in western Massachusetts across the suture between Laurentian units to the west and accreted Appalachian terranes to the east. We have previously deployed 6 broadband stations across this region as part of the NEST broadband array. We plan to complement the previous broadband deployment with 200 nodal sensors, with a focus on imaging the shallowest ~10 km of the crust. |
