Description |
The Mackenzie Mountains Experiment aims to understand the reason mountains are forming 500 miles inland from the nearest plate boundary, while little deformation occurs closer to the boundary. This experiment will extend nearly from the plate boundary to the stable Canadian craton in a transect that extends 500 miles through Northwest Canada |
