| Description |
The WILAS project is a portuguese funded project that will complete the coverage provided by the spanish project TOPOIBERIA, to western Iberia. Its goal is to attain a 3D seismic structure of the crust, lithosphere and astenosphere beneath WIberia.t the iberian scale, both projects will allow a BB seismic coverage similar to the EARTHSCOPE/USArray, with interstation distantes ~60 km. To achieve such coverage, 30 temporary BB stations will be deployed, 20 of which from the GIPP pool of the GFZ-Potsdam. |
