SOPAC collects GNSS and MEMS accelerometer data in southern California and analyzes these data and other collocated GNSS and accelerometers around the world to produce seismogeodetic displacement and velocity waveforms. These are used for earthquake and tsunami early warning, rapid response, source inversions, and other applications. |
