| Description |
On 9 September 2020 at 04:56:58 UTC an earthquake with magnitude Mw 3.5 occurred in the Sicily region. The same area was affected five days after by three Ml > 3 events detected within a minute starting from 03:47:01 UTC on 14 September 2020. The SISMIKO group, which is the coordinating group of the emergency seismic networks of INGV, was activated and 4 seismic temporary stations were installed integrated with the permanent network (IV) in the affected area. These stations were transmitted in real time to the INGV monitoring acquisition room for surveillance purposes. |
