Description |
A total of nine array sites and some additional broadband sites were deployed along a profile across the Wairau (Alpine) and Awatere Faults, with the southernmost array just across the Clarence Fault. Four northern arrays were deployed for 1 year, the four additional arrays (two northern, two southern) were out for six months, and the other array was out about 15 months. Experiment goal is to determine the distribution and variation of strain with depth under this fault system from converted arrivals and S-wave anisotropy from teleseismic and local events. |
