Description |
23 broadband seismometers from the SEIS-UK consorium were deployed in and around Tongariro National Park, North Island, New Zealand. These 3 component instruments recorded continuously at 100 Hz for around 6 months and recorded many local, regional and teleseismic events. The data collected will initially be used to construct a tomographic image of the crust beneath the 3 main volcanoes located in the park - Tongariro, Ngauruhoe and Ruapehu. |
