DIGITAL FORMAT:
SEED(IRIS); SEED, GSEV2.X, MK2, CA (CNSDC)

EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHIM:
At the Canadian National Seismology Data Centre (CNSDC), continuous data are
archived onto 12" SONY optical disk platters; the CNSN 4-band frequency
domain event detector creates a list of "refined detections" for further
post processing, including automatic locations.

COMMENTS:
This station uses the original 5Hz - 20 second bandpass for the STS-1 seismometers.
An upgrade to the 360 second bandpass is planned for late 1993.
