ANMO - STATION INSTRUMENTATION

1. Global Seismograph Network - GSN: IRIS -2 System

DATES OF OPERATION: 14 Jul 1995 to Present.

SEISMOMETER TYPE AND ADC:
Guralp CMG3-T Borehole Seismometer, Geotech KS-54000 Borehole Seismometer,
EDA FM-105B Fluxgate magnitometer, Vaisala PTA Microbarograph and
Teledyne-Geotech Microbarograph. ADC is Quanterra model QX80

DIGITAL FORMAT:
24 bit integer data words for all broad-band (20 sps), long period ( 1 sps),
very long period (0.1 sps) and ultra long period (0.01 sps) channels.
Range: +8,388,607 to -8,388,608 counts. 16 bit integer data words for ,
very short period (100 sps) mass position, and all environmental channels.
Range: +32767 to -32768

EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHM:
The Murdock event detector (Murdock, 1991) is used for the event detected compon
ents.

The Noise Study was done using 1992 data, consequently, it is only an estimation for this generation of station instrumentation.
COMMENTS: Elevation of the 54000 is 1690 meters. The 54000 is installed with
a non-standard orientation. The orientation portion of the SEED channel names
change from N and E to 1 and 2 (e.g. BHN changes to BH1) and vice-versa.
Please see the latest dataless seed volume for current information or contact
the Albuquerque Seismic Lab.

The Guralp CMG3-T Borehole Seismometer was removed on January 28, 1997.
