Vault Conditions: The STS-2 sensor is installed in a special casing directly on bedrock. The vault consists of a shaft formed by concrete rings on bedrock (110 cm diameter, 150 cm height), covered with a concrete cover and snow and ice. No active heating system is installed.
Site Description: The vault is situated close to the base building (12 m), which also hosts the datalogger. The base provide various sources for high frequency noise.
